We use aniline type full grain vegetable tanned leather at Custom Republic.  Vegetable tanned leather is tanned using tannins and other ingredients found in vegetable matters. It is the oldest of form of tanning leather. It is environmentally friendly compared to that of the chrome tanned leather. Our vegetable tanned leather is durable and denser than the chrome leather.

 

 We use the best technique for the surface pigment treatment by using aniline type leather where the beauty of the veins, sweat pores, and the natural characters of cow skin is shown. Unlike the pigment type leather, our leather's oil will surface with each use giving it the shine, and the color as it tans quite beautifully.
